The September quarter 2013 Consumers Price Index (CPI) publication release is now available. The CPI for the September quarter 2013 rose by 1.1 per cent over the June quarter 2013 and by 1.5 per cent over the September quarter 2012.

The Consumers Price Index (CPI) is a quarterly measure of the changes to the prices of consumer items purchased by households, which gives a measure of inflation.
