Key Facts

Total arrivals for the month of May 2021 was 2,120 of which 1,486 which were visitors and 634 are returning Cook Islands residents.

On May 17th 2021, New Zealand and Cook Islands two way travel bubble commenced under a Quarantine-Free Travel arrangement which means that travelers will need to have been in New Zealand for 14 consecutive days prior to departure, ensuring all necessary health and border measures are instituted to the highest standards of protection against Covid-19.

The total departures for May 2021 was 1,187 of which 471 were Cook Islands Residents who left for Education, short term, or permanently.
